harvest tour, part 1

greetings from california.  we made it to the coast… it’s manifest destiny.

it’s been almost two weeks since our farm tour ended and we’re back to the routine of “regular” touring which means no bounty of local food put on the table by those that made them and the community members they serve.   means divey bars rather than bales of hay, trees and crickets.

the whole experience was quite inspirational and we’re already slated to be at this year’s PASA conference in february (never heard of PASA? check it out… http://www.pasafarming.org/) where we hope to reconnect with folks from this year’s harvest tour and begin planning for next year’s. which we hope will be longer, take us farther and maybe even involve more of our friends.  keep your eyes peeled, eh?

until then… buy fresh, buy local.
